KITCHEN BACKSPLASH INSTALLATION AUSTIN
The fastest way to change a kitchen
A new backsplash reshapes the whole room, and most jobs wrap in one to two days. H&H Pro Services installs it clean, cut tight around your outlets and windows, in Austin and the surrounding hill country.
A one-to-two-day change with a big return
Of every update you can make to a kitchen, a backsplash gives you the most visible change for the least disruption. The counters stay. The cabinets stay. In one to two days the wall behind your range and sink goes from builder-grade to the thing people notice first.
The tile you pick sets the tone. We install all the common choices and know how each one behaves on the wall.
Alberto Salazar owns H&H and is on site for the work. You get one person who quotes the job, sets the tile, and answers for it.
Subway tile
The classic. Clean lines, tight grout joints, and a look that holds up. Runs in a straight stack, a running bond offset, herringbone, or vertical depending on the feel you want.
Zellige and handmade tile
Handmade Moroccan-style zellige and other artisan tile carry waves, color shifts, and irregular edges on purpose. That character is the point, and it takes a slower hand to lay so the movement reads as intended and not as a mistake.
Mosaic sheets
Small-format mosaics on mesh sheets, glass, penny round, or stone. The work is in keeping the sheet seams invisible so the field reads as one surface, not a grid of squares.
Marble and natural stone
Marble, travertine, and other natural stone need sealing and careful handling. Real stone has veining and tone that shift piece to piece, so layout gets planned before anything is set.
Large-format tile
Big panels mean fewer grout lines and a calmer wall. They also demand a flat substrate and proper coverage behind each piece, because large tile shows every dip in a wall it is set on.

What is included
A backsplash lives or dies on the details around it. Here is what goes into the install.
Nothing here is an upsell. It is the difference between a wall that looks set by someone who cares and one that looks rushed.
Templating around outlets and windows
Outlets, switches, a window sill, the underside of the upper cabinets. Every one of those gets measured and the tile cut to meet it. Outlet and switch cuts land clean so the cover plates sit flat against tile, not over a ragged edge.
Edge finishing
Where the tile ends at a wall return, a window, or an open edge, it gets finished. Bullnose, a metal or Schluter trim profile, or a mitered edge depending on the tile and the look. No raw cut sides left showing.
Grout and caulk lines
Grout color gets picked with you, since it changes the whole look as much as the tile does. The joint where the backsplash meets the counter is caulked, not grouted, so it can flex and will not crack when the counter moves.
Protecting counters and cabinets
Counters, cabinet faces, and the range get covered before any tile or thinset comes out. We clean up as we go and haul the mess out, so you get your kitchen back, not a job site.
Happy with the backsplash? We do the whole kitchen too
A backsplash is often the first thing someone tries with us. It is a small, contained job that shows how we work before you hand over anything bigger.
If you like the result and start looking at the rest of the kitchen, the cabinets, the counters, a wall that should come down, we do that too. H&H handles full kitchen remodels and renovations, tile through demo through finish. There is a renovation in Westlake in progress right now, documented as it happens.
No pressure either way. Plenty of backsplash jobs stay backsplash jobs. But if you want one crew for the whole thing when the time comes, you will already know how we work.
Where we work
H&H Pro Services is based in Austin and works the west side and hill country closely: Westlake, Rollingwood, Tarrytown, Bee Cave, and Lakeway, plus the greater Austin area.
